CJ is a senior associate at Katz Barsky. He focuses his practice on representing businesses and individuals in real estate and business litigation matters. CJ also has extensive experience in the areas of real estate and business transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of commercial and residential real property, leasing, and the drafting and negotiating of commercial contracts and corporate governance documents. He also handles the collections and asset recovery practice at Katz Barsky.
Prior to joining Katz Barsky, CJ worked in the litigation department for a prominent workers’ compensation defense firm in New Jersey. CJ gained valuable courtroom experience representing fortune 500 companies, employers, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation defense matters.
CJ obtained his undergraduate degrees in Finance and Sports Management at Towson University and his law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School. While attending law school, CJ was an active member of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, the Moot Court Honor Society, and the Transactional Law Honor Society. He also earned inclusion on the Dean’s list and received the Business Organization Certificate for distinguished class performance in the Corporate and Business Law curriculum. Throughout his third year at Widener, CJ served as an extern for President Judge Susan P. Gantman of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
In his free time, CJ enjoys spending time with his friends and family, traveling with his wife, and playing in several recreational sports leagues in the Philadelphia area. CJ also has a passion for real estate investing and is an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
