Charlie is an attorney who cares –- about his clients and his community. As an associate at Katz Barsky, his approach to practice is focused on helping those in need in a way that makes a meaningful difference. His practice includes litigating residential real estate disputes, as well as family law matters, including divorce, support, equitable distribution, and custody.
Prior to joining the firm, Charlie served as a law clerk for the Honorable Daniel J. Clifford in the Family Law Division of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. He participated in daily courtroom proceedings and had extensive interactions with counsel and parties, gaining invaluable litigation experience.
Charlie received his Juris Doctorate from Drexel’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law and focused his studies on real property and environmental law. As an advocate for more equal access to justice, he joined the Marshall-Brennan Program where he taught inner-city high school students about fundamental concepts of constitutional law. Charlie also participated in numerous trial advocacy programs to hone his litigation skills, eventually earning the CALI award for Best Performance.
Beyond the firm, Charlie is always looking for ways to give back. He was elected as the vice-chair for the Montgomery Bar Association’s Children & the Law Committee and served as a neutral arbitrator on numerous cases. When he finds time to himself, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his fiancé and their Aussiedoodle, Lucy.
